They think it was the timing belt on the Contour. At first they thought it broke, not they think it slipped. Either way, its not gonna be too cheap to fix and we’re still waiting to hear if there was engine damage when the engine went all wonky.
Speaking of wonky, tomorrow I get another crack at our favorite snake-bit computer. Our client with the twichy G4 called us yesterday saying he restarted the machine after it locked up and it never came back. After some investigation the hard drive seems to have gone missing from his desktop!
I hate when that happens.
