Smoke, No Fire

They were doing a ‘controlled burn’ of almost 2000 acres in Jasper county, southeast of the Atlanta area. As a result the entire city was covered by foul smelling haze all through rush hour. It smelled more like a building fire than a forest fire, I hate that smell.

Last Wednesday the city skyline almost disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Most people in the metro area thought it was because of a fire nearby, but actually the fire that created the cloudy of smoke came from more than 50 miles away!
