A Long Day

Just damn.
First my email was freaking out today. I stopped all those bounce back emails that were coming in, but apparently that stopped all the other email as well. Then there were printer issues, with an old LaserWriter 16/600 PS from 1995 to be exact. It’s as old as Hell, but it is a workhorse that hardly gives any problems. But when it does…
Off to the right of the printer is an old PowerBook 520c (from 1994) that I was trying to use to fix the printer settings. It was a good idea, until the display started to die! At the same time another couple machines were giving me problems. Ubuntu Linux is pretty good for free, but it melted down when I swapped out the monitor. Then, my FrankenMac that I keep for running various old hardware and software barfed. Over all, hardware was kicking my ass today.
I was tired when I finally left work and was looking forward to heading home. I got in the truck, hooked up the old iPod…and that’s when it’s died.
