It was a beautiful day today, perfect for yard work. When I was working in the front yard, a flock of sandhill cranes flew overhead on their way back north. They made an odd noise flying over, it’s a strange croaking sound. Of course, it seemed like they were kinda lost. Either the same group flew over twice or we had more than one flock.
