Back to work, bleh.
There is some new stuff at ThinkWeasel, including a new look. WordPress and ComicPress have been updated, I will be tweaking the look and feel as we wrangle the CSS.
There will be some more pics up tomorrow, they might be backdated. Why you ask? Because I can, deal monkeys!
Time to go sleep off some of the wine in my system from having Emily over. It’s her (now defunct) wedding anniversary, she needed the company of friends.

The edge of the storm that hit the north side of Atlanta. This picture was taken from our front porch while I listened to the tornado sirens of a nearby county. It was an odd siren, much higher pitched and whiny than the ones I remember growing up.
Taking a sleeping pill so I don’t wake up in the middle of the night (it was Angela’s turn this time). Going to work through decent traffic (you think I only write about the bad stuff?) and trying to figure out what printer to buy for work (very exciting, so MANY to choose from, AIGH!). Finally coming out of the sleeping pill stupor by lunch after a few cups o’ coffee (at least I wasn’t up all night) and working on the many other projects (see the “list keeps getting longer” post). Going up to Fry’s Electronics for the Anniversary sale to buy random crap for misc. projects and people (as well as fighting the other geeks doing the same). Coming back through the beginning of Friday Rush Hour traffic (ask for it by name) to finish off a couple things as people bolt from work for the weekend. Finally finish odd bits of projects and head home through not so bad Friday traffic. Then come home to make a crampy Angela some pretty good food and watch some SCI-FI Friday goodness. After that, sit at the computer to type out an odd, rambling post about the day.
Check and check, time for bed.

This is what we were working on tonight, the logo for a Taqueria in the early stages of development. We have a gig to do the entire ID system for this place and it’s pretty exciting. I’ve got it scanned in so I can play with the inking next.
Right now I’ve got to get to bed. I didn’t sleep for squat last night and it’s finally catching up with me. Fortunately, we lost power at work this afternoon because of the rain. So I took the chance to bolt early and grab a nap before going back to work this evening. I also got some misc. website updates done here and at the Think Weasel! ComicSpace Site.
My cats eat and sleep whenever they want. Twice a day, they even get wet food. They have a back yard to sun themselves in and a big bed to sleep in. I, on the other hand, go to work every day to make this happen for them. Now, WHO is the dominant life form in the situation?!
This is a common refrain, but things HAVE been pretty busy lately. Damn, it seems my “To Do” is getting bigger, not smaller! I’ve told Angela to point out the next time I’m bored, so that I can mark it on my calendar. That’s because so much stuff is going on, that I don’t expect to see that any time soon.
On to bed.
