R.I.P. George Carlin

George Carlin died yesterday of a heart attack in Santa Monica, California at the age of 71.
He was on the list of people I wanted to see live before they were gone, too bad I missed him. I remember watching his comedy specials on cable back in the 80’s and laughing my ass off. When I went out to California for the summer in ‘89, I worked for my Godmother in San Luis Obispo. I still remember listening to tapes of his comedy over and over again in my Walkman as I helped paint her house.
He left a pretty good legacy and he went pretty quick. I guess there are worse notes to end one’s life on.
