Monday Update

This Monday is pretty hard. Angela is dealing with monthly issues and we’re both dealing with our missing cat. We went to the Dekalb County Animal Shelter today to check for Bernie. It was no big surprise that she wasn’t there, they rarely come over this way.

Still, it was hard seeing all those animals, knowing most of them will probably be destroyed. I’m depressed, the worst thing is not knowing what happened. If she was gone, I would have to deal with that. As it is right now, we don’t know if she’s hurt or trapped or God fucking knows what.

*sigh*

We didn’t do out comic and Vortex thing, neither one of use felt like it. Angela worked on Taqueria stuff and I worked outside. Mowing the lawn helped take my mind off things for a little bit. I also cleaned up some of the jungle in the side yard and called for Bernie in our neighbor’s crawlspace. There are so damn many things I need to be working on right now, but it’s real hard to care. I’ll be getting things back on schedule with the comic due today and every other freaking thing once I pull myself together.
