We washed and waxed the cars today. Between the drought and our laziness, it’s been a long time since it was done last. I hate to say it, but I think it has been a couple years since I really washed and waxed the truck last! It was a hell of a lot of work, but it was worth it.
After all that, we went to the Corner Tavern over by Piedmont Park with Heather for dinner. It was a good chance to use a coupon we got from Kate.
Now it’s time for bed, I’m gonna be sore in the morning!
Not a bad day at work, the commute home on the other hand… blech! I-285 was shut down because of a tanker truck accident. Because of that, it took me TWO HOURS to get home with traffic being so messed up. To add to the fun, when I stopped at Kroger to pick up dinner, the damn battery died on me AGAIN! Good thing someone was nice enough to help me…
Finally got home and was able to spend some time with Dani and Allen before they left for Florida. It was nice to relax and watch Farscape with Angela and to end the week on a good note.
