This is the fountain at Maggiano’s Little Italy next to Perimeter Mall. We went there for lunch and it was so damn cold that the water was freezing, even at 1 o’clock in the afternoon.
Neither one of us slept well last night. So we’re having a low key evening on the couch watching the new episode of Battlestar Galactica. An early version of Friday’s ThinkWeasel comic is up and it will be finished tomorrow.

Well, I got Angela’s hard drive on the way to being fixed and another comic is live. Here it is, I’m going to sleep!

They have released the next major version of WordPress, the blogging software I use here. It looks pretty good, I just wonder what glitches are going to pop up.

…along with a few other of our various websites. The MySQL Server is being pissy, so that means no webby sitey! BTW, if you don’t know what the heck that server is, go look it up on Wikipedia.
Apparently the front page of ThinkWeasel comes up sometimes if you’re lucky. I think this is because of a WordPress plug-in I put in that creates a static page backup of your site to take the load off your webserver in case a crap ton of people hit it all at once (DIGG anyone?). If you try to click a link to another page on the site, it still craps out. But one page is better than no page!
I’m off to got talk to tech support a figger’ this mess out…
(Edit, Later: The problem is fixed, everything should be fine. Back to drawing weasels…)
This guy was performing at the Good Neighbor Day airshow at Peachtree-Dekalb Airport yesterday. He cut a ribbon at ground level with his propeller by flying into it UPSIDE-DOWN! The show was fun, even if was boiling hot out on the runway. Angela had a good time despite women issues and I picked up a butterfly bush for the backyard from one of the vendors. Maybe the plant will survive, unlike the ones we bought there last year.
Today we geeked and continued to work on the logo for the Taqueria. It’s too hot outside to do yardwork, so it’s a good time for it. The air has gotten that hot, crispy feel to it that comes about when it gets into the 90’s. We’re about to go over to see our friends Stormy and Jim and socialize a bit. After being in front of the computer screen all day, we could use it.
This is from Wednesday morning when I was up until around 4 a.m from BAD insomnia. Because of the lack of distractions, it’s amazing how much can be accomplished at that time of night. Too bad I need sleep to function, or I’d get a heck of a lot more done!
