It’s been good but quiet day. We finally decorated the house for Halloween, did some work on patching concrete in the carport and we’ve been handing out candy to the kids.
Last weekend we noticed a muddy spot in the yard and it hadn’t rained in days. After closer inspection, we realized it was the area above our septic tank. It was possible that our worst fear, that it had stopped working, had come to pass. Sadly by the end of the week, our plumbers came out and confirmed that our field lines had collapsed.
Those were replaced this weekend. It was hard, back breaking work, but they are all replaced now. I have some pictures up on Facebook and I plan to post them here later. For now, I am still tired from this weekend and just wanted to get a bit up.

Long day at work. One of those where I sit here waiting for the files to come in until God knows when.
We’ve been working on the kitchen door for the past 3 days. Its been a LOT harder than originally expected. Still, it will look great when its done.
