Spent the morning sleeping in to recover from hanging out at the Thinking Man Tavern last night. Remember these famous last words, “I’ll just have a couple drinks then head home.” Riiiiiight… It will be the last blow out for a little while though. Finances are becoming tight again and its time to play it a little more conservative. Besides, we’re starting the South Beach Diet and there isn’t alcohol allowed for the first two weeks.

It was a beautiful, if kinda overcast day. A good one to start off with some coffee on our back deck (with a cat supervising) and then begin the door project for the previously mentioned Decatur Art Festival. The primer coast is on and I have some of the basic design penciled in. Pictures are being taken and will be posted later.
