“Hello, my name is Nick, and I’m a geek.”
Thinking about it this morning, I had this image of standing up at a geek support group, like the Al-Anon meetings I went to about five years back.
I say this because my apartment looks like Apple Computer (circa 1995) exploded and the pieces landed on every flat surface possible. Personally, when the number of computers in one’s possession (working or otherwise) exceeds 10, geekdom has occurred.
The funny thing is that I enjoy it. I actually LIKE rooting through these parts and pieces, figuring out just what in the HELL they may be. I actually LIKE the idea of taking these random parts and turning them into something useful.
Its just too bad they take up so much space…

First day of spring!! Couldn’t tell too easily though…cold, damp, dark, rainy, and generally crappy weather…then again, that does sound like Michigan in the spring as well…I’m glad I moved! 🙂
Anyways, just wanted to give a bit of an update. All the loyal fans of this website have been a bit irate about the lack ‘o new material. What was the phrase used… “crappy website”?
I don’t blame them, this place has gotten a tad stale…worse than the crackers I’d found in the desk drawer at work this afternoon…and it has been over a month since I’d taken chili to work! Yick.
So keep an eye on this place. I’ll let my actions speak for me. While you’re waiting, check out the oh so useful link ‘o the week.

Here is a shot of all the old computer stuff I was still sorting through that was in storage since moving into Derrydown. Back in 1999, I bought as much Mac crap as I could shove into my Chevy Celebrity for about $500 cash. Even after selling the parts for years, I still have some of them.
