Never let a 300 plus pound man flop down on your couch from a standing position! This may seem like a casual thing, but that can be a HELL of a lot of force on one’s furniture. We realized that the frame was damaged from said flopping when we were moving in December. Ironically enough, it was another large friend who pointed it out! It has taken a while but we finally got to fixing it today. After a trip to Home Depot, some drilling, some snapped screws and a little blood sacrifice on my part, it is now fixed. The frame had been dropped 2-3 inches by this guy’s stunt and now it is (almost) like new. Amazing what makes a person happy after buying a house.
