Up in Knoxville. Currently doing updates on on Denna’s iMac over the dial-up connection. God, if I never have to deal with a slow connection again, it will be too soon.

Denna is on the couch watching the Disney Channel. If this is the crap that Disney is churning out these days, no wonder they thought closing the Orlando animation studio was a good idea.

Watched the final episodes of Enterprise and Andromeda last night. Enterprise ended well if a bit abruptly, Andromeda ended with a whimper caused by bad writing.

This morning, Angela and I were talking about the next Star Wars movie. She asked if it was going to explain how Skywalker became Darth Vader. I said yes, and I told her that during a battle with Obi-Wan he fell into a burning ring of fire. He went down, down, down and the flames went higher. Yes, I realized that the Johnny Cash song, Ring of Fire, could be used to describe what happened to Darth Vader.

I know, I am a strange man.
