With all the chaos going on over at Facebook with the latest redesign, I’ve been reminded that writing here is usually the most reliable thing to do. Social sites will always come and go (I’m talking about you, MySpace) but control over this corner of the Internet is ultimately in my hands. As a result, I will work on writing more here again.

This weekend I met a man named Jacob that works for Marvel Comics. We had some good conversations about his work on the Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe. It was interesting to hear about his difficult experiences in trying to find old information and artwork. That got me thinking a lot of my experience in pre-press, workflow and tech support and how it fit together with his work. I plan to write more about it later and it might fit together with my long-term desire to use my knowledge for the benefit of comics.
