So, this year’s convention was off the cuff. We decided on short notice (about 1 and 1/2 weeks beforehand) to do a table. We didn’t think we would make much (or any) money, but it would still be satisfying. We ordered the table, took the time off and worked on some stuff.

Its hard to believe time has passed so quickly since Heroes Con this year. We decided to go on short notice, since we had other plans that didn’t work out. So, a week and a half before go time, we worked to get ready. It was a good convention and sorely needed. Time away from the grind, time with friends. I felt tired and numb at the beginning of the trip, but felt better by the end of it.
Its hard for me to give a crap these days. So much work, so much grind, so much disappointment. It wears me down and makes it hard to believe things will get better. That’s why we knew it was time for a break, whatever the cost.
There is more of course (when is there not?), but that will do for now.
The third collection is finished and ready to go for Heroes Con this weekend!
Encounters with the fourth dimension happen when you realize time is passing. Tonight, it happened watching movies. First, it happened watching The Last Stand, an action movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was pretty good, but I can see why it was panned in the theatre. Next was Beverly Hills Cop, which came out 29 years ago.

Despite our efforts, things aren’t working out as well we hoped. It’s been a rough week. Still, one must press on. Our original plans didn’t include going to Heroes Con in a couple weeks. Since we are here, we might as well take advantage of this situation. We even decided to get a table.
Will we make our money back? I doubt it. Still, it will be good to see everyone. We will do our best to sell our wares and call it good.
